I have a basic configuration with a server runningWindows 2008 R2 on a Dell R610 system configured as both a DHCPv4 and v6 server. I have a Lenovo box installed with Windows 7 (x86). The Windows 7 system has no problem getting an IPv4 and IPv6 address from the server. I now have a Dell R910 installed with VMware 5.1 with a similar Windows 7 (x86) instance. It can get a IPv4 address, but can not get an IPv6 address. I have "supposedly" enabled IPv6 via the vSphere Client Network interface, but still nothing. What am I missing?
