I have no way of adding anything to the win2000.iso so I could not add the Rollup to it. The ONLY way I could do it was to burn the Rollup to a CD because at that point all the Player could see was the CD drive. Once the Rollup was installed then it was a simple thing to install the Player Tools.
It was not a waste of time and resources as I burned a lot of other things to that CD for later use if needed. GParted, Clonezilla etc.
I know I could have bought CD-burner software that would let me add to the .iso, but then why spend money when all it took was five-minutes of my time and a $0.03 CD?
