does anyone know if the workaround we came up with is safe to use and has no adverse side effects?
After we run an upgrade and we find this file missing or empty
/opt/vmware/var/lib/vami/update/data/info/manifest-installed.xml
we run this script to re-create the file.
/opt/vmware/share/update/install-appliance-manifest
I have not seen any problems with this yet, but we are still testing.
