Can anyone please assist me in where and how to prevent this issue with missing VMFS datastore after manually upgrading ESX 4.1u1 into ESXi5.1u1b by using .ISO image ?
Background: I have just successfully upgraded the old ESX 4.1u1 host using the Force Migrate + Preserve LUN configuration, all of the other settings were successfully transferred to ESXi 5.1u1, however some VMFS datastores are missing and I cannot see it in the host ?
This one particular host is part of the 3 nodes Server Clusters where the remaining two which is now still in ESX 4.1u1 can see all of the VMFS datastore with no issue.
