It wouldn't happen to be as easy as copying over the virtual machine file to the new IMac, would it?
Yes it's thst easy! 
Make sure the Virtual Machine is shutdown, not suspended, and VMware Fusion is closed when you copy it. Also Windows will probably have to be reactivated.
