--Repro Steps (using "create new role" as an example):
1.Install and start the HQ server
2.Click Administrator, navigate to Authentication/Authorization, click New Role.
3.Input non-ASCII chars in Name and Description.
(If you click OK now and save it right away, non-ascii value can be saved correctly)
4.Don't click OK right away, and leave the page idle for some time (one hour or so) and then click OK
5.At this time, you are asked to log in the dashboard again
6.Log in, and notice the non-ascii value entered previously is saved as garbage.
Please see the attached screenshot. The correctly displayed role names are saved right away and the garbled one illustrates the bug.
