Hi All,
I'm trying to backup some old physical servers to VMs. The Converter wizard (sitting on a W2k3 box) seems to be perfectly happy logging into the target box (bare metal RHEL 5.3 install), logging into the ESX server (shows current VMs), and brings up the the Datastore selection screen. There's plenty of space on the datastore (I specifically cleared it down for this), and it's file system is VMFS. However, the "Next" button is greyed out. No errors, nothing else to do except to go back.
Has anyone seen this before? Are there any other free P2V solutions (all of them now seem gargantuan enterprise "solutions", or don't offer actual disk commits in the trial versions)?
