Your issue was just referred to me.

Yes, a firmware upgrade is required to support two displays over ESXi. Please contact Dell for the firmware upgrade and let me know if you have any problems getting it from Dell.

Unfortunately, NVIDIA does not provide firmeware upgrades to the public. Firmware upgrades are provided by the OEM, in this case by Dell.
