Adding the drivers for a BusLogic SCSI Controller will not do anything whatsoever to resolve this issue and you either didn't read the entire thread before jumping in or didn't comprehend what I said, "Why anyone would think that a separate driver disk is available when the key here is "This enables use of in box drivers for certain operation systems", which doesn't exist in Windows XP for the "VMware Virtual SATA Drive ATA Device" and at the present time VMware has not made available separate drivers for using a "VMware Virtual SATA Drive ATA Device" in a Windows XP Virtual Machine."!
